Heather is passionate about advocating for clients in complex disputes, whether representing employers and employees in employment litigation and arbitration, or defending healthcare companies and other businesses in jury trials. With more than two decades of experience, she brings seasoned judgment and a steady hand to high-stakes matters.
Prior to building her litigation career, Heather studied at the University of California, Davis, where she pursued English, Biochemistry, and German. Initially focused on Biochemistry as a pre-med student, she transitioned into English after discovering her strengths in communication and analysis. Alongside her academic pursuits, Heather was a nationally ranked runner on the UC Davis team and competed in Olympic trials. She also studied German extensively and performed in a UC Davis German-language production, ultimately graduating with a BA in English while maintaining strong foundations in Biochemistry and German.
Heather launched her legal career representing both employers and employees in employment disputes, and has since expanded her practice to include healthcare companies and other businesses in litigation and jury trials. Her ability to balance technical expertise with clear communication has made her a trusted advocate in the courtroom and beyond.
Heather grew up in the East Bay and today is married to a former race car driver. Outside of work, she is focused on raising two children and caring for farm animals, including chickens.
