Over the course of her career, Linda has developed and executed litigation strategy, built factual records, and presented legal arguments that have led to successful outcomes on dispositive motions, through settlement negotiations and mediations, and at trial.

Linda has represented clients across a wide range of matters, including consumer class actions, employment and labor disputes, construction and manufacturing defect claims, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, unfair and deceptive practices, securities matters, mortgage servicing disputes, and other complex commercial litigation. She previously practiced at several prominent law firms, where she built a reputation for thoughtful advocacy, strategic judgment, and meticulous preparation.

Linda is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 1993 and her B.A. with distinction from Cornell University in 1986.

Deeply committed to her community, Linda currently serves as a Commissioner on the City of Berkeley Commission on the Status of Women. Linda has also devoted significant time to pro bono work, including eviction defense through the Bar Association of San Francisco and advocacy on behalf of children through Kids In Need of Defense.

Linda lives in Berkeley, California with her two cats and an African Grey parrot. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys music and recently began learning to play the banjo. She is an avid hiker in the East Bay Hills and a frequent visitor to Bay Area art museums. Before attending law school, Linda pursued a career in dramaturgy in New York and San Francisco, an experience that continues to inform her appreciation for storytelling, advocacy, and the power of well-crafted narrative.
