Robert has represented clients in business and real estate disputes and transactions for over forty years.

Robert has represented numerous businesses (individuals, partnerships, and corporations) in their formation, organization, on-going issues, sales, purchases, and dissolution. From 1978 to the present Robert has represented numerous parties (both plaintiffs and defendants) in all types of litigation involving real estate, including construction defect suits, nuisance cases, boundary line and easement disputes, lender disputes, mechanic’s lien actions, and involving business disputes, including claims of breach of contract, fraud, negligence, and breach of fiduciary duties. Robert has tried over 30 jury trials and over 80 court trials; as well as handled numerous appeals, including at the Supreme Court of California level.

Robert graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1978 from the U.C. Berkeley School of Law.

Robert has been named a Northern California “Super Lawyer” for the last eight years.  Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. Only lawyers in the top 5% of the total lawyers in the State are selected to the Super Lawyers list. (
